When inviting reviewers to a review step on Filestage, you can save time using our reviewer suggestions feature. This feature suggests email addresses based on previously invited reviewers and team members. However, you may want to remove an email address from the suggestion list, especially if it's no longer relevant or entered incorrectly. In this article, we'll explain how to remove email addresses from the reviewer suggestions list.

What are Reviewer Suggestions?

Reviewer suggestions are email addresses that are automatically suggested when you're inviting reviewers to a review step. The suggestions are based on email addresses that have been previously invited as reviewers or team members.

The suggestions consist of:

  • All team members from your team (if you're inviting reviewers as a team member)

  • All team members and reviewers from all projects and steps from all the teams you're a part of (if you're inviting reviewers as an external reviewer)

  • If you're an external reviewer and not a part of any team, you won't get any suggestions.


How to remove a specific email address from the suggestions list?

To remove an email address from the reviewer suggestions list, you need to locate where the email address has previously been invited and remove it manually.

  • To remove a suggested team member:

  • To remove a suggested reviewer:

    • If the suggestion is a reviewer invited in one or more review steps, you'll need to find all the review steps to which they have been invited and delete them out of the review step. Here is more information about how to remove a reviewer.

⚠️ Please note: If a team member is also a reviewer, the email address must be removed from both the team overview and all review steps to be completely removed from suggestions.
