Understand roles for team members

Learn about the difference of teammates being admins or members.

When inviting a team member to Filestage, you can assign them specific roles -Admin, Manager, or Member - based on their responsibilities and access requirements.

Moreover, these roles can be easily switched later on, giving you the flexibility to adapt as your team evolves.

Below, you'll find a table that provides a quick overview of each role's permissions with a more in-depth explanation of each role and its associated permissions. This will provide you with detailed insights into what each team member can or cannot do.

What are the roles for team members in Filestage?

  • Admin: Best for business owners and company administrators (left white column).

  • Manager: Best for employees who need full access to all projects (middle white column).

  • Member: Best for anyone who only need access to specific projects (right white column).

The same information can also be found in the roles page of your account. Please note that it is accessible only to admins.

Are there customizable roles?

In the Enterprise plan, you can create individual roles for your team to manage the permissions more accurately. Feel free to write to us if you are interested in respective roles: support@filestage.io.
