Learn about the difference of teammates being admins or members.

When inviting a team member to Filestage, you can assign them specific roles -Admin, Manager, or Member - based on their responsibilities and access requirements.

Moreover, these roles can be easily switched later on, giving you the flexibility to adapt as your team evolves.

Below, you'll find a table that provides a quick overview of each role's permissions with a more in-depth explanation of each role and its associated permissions. This will provide you with detailed insights into what each team member can or cannot do.

What are the roles for team members in Filestage?

Admin

Best for business owners and company administrators.

Manager

Best for employees who need full access to all projects.

Member

Best for anyone who only need access to specific projects.

Access to all projects

  • This permission determines whether a team member can access all of the team's projects or only those to which he or she has been invited.

Manage projects

  • Create, rename and delete projects

  • Create projects using project templates

  • Create, rename and delete reviewer groups

  • Add and remove project collaborators

  • Add and remove project reviewers

  • Change reviewer settings of reviewer groups

Upload new files

  • Upload new files to projects

Manage team

  • Invite and remove team members

  • Create, edit and delete roles

  • Edit the team name and delete the team

Manage the subscription

  • View subscription details and invoices

  • Change plan and payment details

Manage the branding

  • Change the team branding

Manage project templates

  • Create, rename and delete project templates

  • Create, rename and delete reviewer groups in project templates

  • Change reviewer group settings in project templates

Manage Apps
