Sometimes, you are done with continuously switching between solutions. All you long for is a single source of working with a unified and consistent look and feel for you and those you work with.

Say hello to **iframes!** iframes provide a convenient, seamless user-friendly experience to access other solutions without navigating away from the parent solution.

They eliminate the need for complex installations, configurations, or maintenance and can be deployed with just a few lines of code.

On top of that, they provide you with a cost-effective, secure, and convenient way to integrate other solutions into your preferred working tool.

And we have some good news for you. **You can easily embed Filestage in any iframe-capable site, such as:**

# How to embed Filestage in an iframe

You can embed Filestage in two scenarios: **login for account holders** or **view and comment for reviewers**. Here's how you do it in four quick steps:

1.  Use any **iframe-capable site**
    
    -   To embed Filestage, you will need to use a site that supports iframes like Microsoft Teams.
        
2.  **Log out of Filestage**
    
    -   Before proceeding, make sure you are logged out of Filestage.
        
3.  **Login flow**
    
    -   To embed Filestage for login, **follow these steps:**
        
        -   Add a custom embedded instance of Filestage to your iframe.
            
            -   Click the login button.
                
            -   A login popup will appear. Use it to log in to your Filestage account.
                
4.  **Reviewer flow**
    
    -   To embed Filestage for reviewers, **follow these steps:**
        
        -   Prepare a review link for a document in Filestage.
            
            -   Add a custom embedded instance of Filestage to your iframe.
                
            -   Use the review link you saved in step 1.
                
            -   Comment on the document.
                
            -   Filestage will ask for your email. Once you provide it, you will be able to record your comment.

# How to get the embed code for Filestage

1.  **Copy the Filestage URL:** Open the Filestage instance that you want to embed and copy the URL from the browser.
    
2.  **Create the iframe code:** To create the iframe code, you will need to use the following syntax:
    
    -   <iframe src="**your-filestage-instance-url**" title="**Filestage**"></iframe>
        

_Replace_ **_"your-filestage-instance-url"_** _with the URL that you copied in step 1._

And that's it! You now have the code to embed Filestage into your preferred iframe-capable site. You can add additional attributes to the iframe code, such as the "title" attribute, to customize the appearance and behavior of the embedded instance of Filestage.
