# Sort your projects and files

# Sort projects

You can sort your projects either **chronologically** or **alphabetically.** 

1.  Open your dashboard in Filestage.
    
2.  Click on the **sort and filter symbol** in the project menu.

3.  You now can select your preferred **sort criterion.**

# Sort files

You can sort your files within projects either **chronologically** or **alphabetically.** 

1.  Open the desired project on your dashboard
    
2.  Click on the **sort symbo**l in the top left corner in your project.

3.  You now have the possibility to select your preferred **sort criterion.**
