How do CMYK and sRGB colors appear in Filestage?

When files get uploaded to Filestage, our system transcodes the files so that they can be viewed on all platforms from desktop to mobile devices.

Color profiles can be a tough nut to crack. In general, it is possible to upload images in CMYK and sRGB color profiles to Filestage. However, we recommend always uploading files with the sRGB color profile to ensure color accuracy.

How can I ensure color accuracy on my exported files?

To ensure maximum color accuracy, we recommend exporting images  with the “sRGB IEC61966-2.1” color profile.

If your file has CMYK elements or you are not sure which color profiles are used, you should always  make sure to convert your files to “sRGB IEC61966-2.1”.
